Maintenance Engineer

Job Description Developing a schedule for routine maintenance of mobile plants, heavy equipment, trucks, etc. Responding to diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment. Creating standard operating procedures for maintenance and repairs. Training staff on equipment use and potential hazards to help ensure safety. Supervising members of the maintenance team, including Mechanics, Electricians and specialized contractors. Maintaining records of equipment installations, malfunctions, maintenance and repairs. Estimating project costs and assisting in developing a departmental budget. Staying current on machinery recalls, safety guidelines and evolving industry standards. Additional Information Requirements: Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services. Holder of a valid Mandatory Basic Safety Training Certificate (Construction Safety Green Card). Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience. Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards. Possession of a valid driving license (Classes 1 and 2) is preferable. Fluent in both spoken and written Cantonese and English.
