Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism upon arrival at the restaurant or dining venue, setting a positive tone for their experience Seat guests promptly and present menus while providing knowledgeable information about current specials, dining options, and menu highlights Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring all special requests and dietary requirements are noted Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation, temperature standards, and attention to detail Provide personalized recommendations on menu items, beverage pairings, and dining experiences based on guest preferences and needs Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and address any concerns, special requests, or issues promptly and professionally Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations Clear and reset tables efficiently between seatings while preserving the ambiance and comfort of the dining space Process guest payments accurately and professionally, including handling cash, credit cards, and digital transactions with integrity Collaborate effectively with kitchen, bar, and housekeeping teams to support seamless service delivery and a positive work environment Comply with all health, safety, and food service regulations, as well as organizational service standards and procedures Respond to guest inquiries and requests with courtesy and empathy, escalating complex issues to management when necessary Contribute to a supportive team environment by assisting colleagues during peak service periods and sharing best practices Qualifications **Required Qualifications:** Minimum 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage service or guest-facing hospitality roles Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests professionally Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods during service Flexibility to work varied shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Demonstrated ability to handle guest concerns with empathy and resolve issues professionally **Preferred Qualifications:** Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment Food safety certification or training Knowledge of wine pairings and beverage offerings Experience with multiple POS systems or hospitality management software Multilingual abilities to communicate with diverse guest populations Certification in hospitality service standards or customer service excellence
