What do Service Attendants do? Service attendants are hospitality-minded specialists that help improve quality of life for village residents living and working away from home: Housekeeping/cleaning accommodation rooms (aka “dongas”) Assisting in the kitchen and dining room service areas - food handling and food preparation required  Mine site cleaning of offices, crib rooms and ablution blocks Providing customer service in the tavern or retail shop Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas and common areas What does it take to work for Sodexo? Working on the mines can be very rewarding but it isn’t for everyone.
