Project Business Development

Job Description PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the Industrial Manufacturing segment while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts. Develop and execute sales plans and account strategies to achieve sales targets, increase market penetration, and deliver sustainable business growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, project owners, consultants, contractors,applicator and key decision-makers to drive long-term business partnerships. Promote Sika’s products, systems, and solutions through technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution-based selling. Understand customer requirements and provide value-added technical and commercial solutions, including effective pre-sales and after-sales support. Negotiate quotations, commercial terms, and contracts in accordance with company policies and pricing guidelines. Monitor sales performance, project pipelines, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and support business development strategies. Maintain accurate customer and project records, and provide regular sales forecasts, market intelligence, and business updates to management Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science preferably Civil, Chemical, Materials Engineering any other related fields. Experience 5-8 years’ working experience in Sales of construction chemicals, building materials or equipment Experienced in selling to industrial projects is an advantage Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales target and driving sales growth Have the ability to communicate, present, negotiate, and closing business deals with customers Must be proactive, high attention to details, and have flexible approach to managing task Able to communicate in both Thai and English languages Competencies & Skills Good English and Thai Proficient in Microsoft Office tools Must have excellent interpersonal and Negotiating skills, Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent analytic thinking Ownership in assigned task Planning and Organizing Time management skills Quantitative and numeric skills. Excellent in problem-solving Network within industry and past participation in local and/or national industry associations Travel as required. Additional Information The additional headcount is required to support the expansion of business opportunities across specialized industrial segments, including Food & Beverage, Electronics, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Automotive, Heavy Manufacturing Plants, and Data Centers. This will ensure sufficient resources to effectively manage increasing customer demands, provide technical support, and drive business growth.
