RHEL Linux Support Engineer (all gender)

Job Description YOU… provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Linux-based R&D and customer workstation environments  troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to RHEL, hardware, virtualization, networking and software installations  analyze and drive resolution of customer and internal escalation cases ("Yellow Flag" investigations)  support software releases, platform updates and integration activities  work closely with R&D, platform and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions  maintain workstation configurations and ensure compliance with platform standards  create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides  contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and user experience  Qualifications YOU… have successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a comparable qualification  have Experience supporting large-scale Linux workstation environments  are familiar with ticketing systems and incident management processes  have experience with configuration management and automation tools  understand software development workflows and release processes  possess strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)  have proven Linux troubleshooting and system administration skills  have a good understanding of virtualization technologies and enterprise workstation environments  Experience with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages  Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and security fundamentals  communicate professionally in English; German language skills are considered an advantage We value diversity and therefore welcome all applications - regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion/belief, disability, age and sexual orientation and identity.
