Relief Security Officer

Job Description Responsibilities You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes: Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors. Conducting regular safety and security patrols. Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures. Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches. Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption. Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers. Provide a visible security presence across the site Conduct regular foot patrols Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms Manage access control and visitor sign-in procedures Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally Complete accurate incident and shift reports Assist employees, contractors, and visitors Ensure all health, safety, and security procedures are followed at all times Please note - The responsibilities listed here aren’t the full picture—but they give you a good sense of the role. As a Relief Security Officer, you will provide security services across a variety of sites within a designated geographical area as required. The Relief Security Officer will be responsible for protecting employees, property, and assets in line with Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements, while delivering exceptional customer service.
