This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet organizational goals. The position demands active involvement in setting standards and maintaining high-quality deliverables that are scalable and performant, while fostering collaboration among team members to drive successful project outcomes. Role: Java L3 Support Engineer responsible for production incident management, environment management, and structured knowledge transfer within a global banking technology environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project timelines and quality standards. - Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth. - Facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on project objectives. - Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to optimize efficiency and product quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Standard Edition. - Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. - Experience with software architecture design and implementation. - Ability to analyze and optimize application performance and scalability. - Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows. - Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
