This role offers a unique opportunity to provide compassionate support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication reminders Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping tasks Accompany clients to appointments and social outings as needed Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care management team Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant events during shifts Collaborate with other care professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care Participate in ongoing training and development programmes to enhance your skills and knowledge Adapt care plans to meet the individual needs and preferences of each client Promote clients' independence and dignity at all times Qualifications Experience in supporting older people in a professional or personal capacity is desirable Confident in the use of a mobile phone and basic technology Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of individual clients Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate nature with a genuine passion for supporting others Flexibility to work alternate weekends and provide continuity of care Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for client visits and outings Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks Basic understanding of health and safety practices in a care setting Strong time management and organisational skills Empathy and patience when working with vulnerable individuals Willingness to participate in our award-winning training programme Must reside in the UK and have the right to work in the UK (we are not sponsoring visa applications at this time) Additional Information Benefits From £13.50 per hour for flexible contracts.  Paid Travel and Waiting time between client visits  Paid mileage, with payments matched to current fuel prices.
