The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration and communication to ensure that data models support organizational goals effectively and adapt to evolving demands. The Data Modeler plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation through detailed data analysis and design activities. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to ensure data models are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall data modeling capabilities. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate data models into broader data management and analytics initiatives. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts. - Experience with data modeling tools and software to create logical and physical data models. - Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective data structures. - Familiarity with database design principles and data governance practices. - Skilled in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure data integrity and usability.
