Project Role : LLM Model Developer Project Role Description : Fine-tunes Large Language Models with emphasis on instruction fine-tuning and domain adaptation to enhance model relevance and performance in specific contexts. Must have skills : Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Large Language Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better suit specific domains and instructions. This role focuses on enhancing the model's ability to understand and generate contextually relevant responses by carefully adjusting its parameters and training data. The workday includes analyzing model outputs, experimenting with different fine-tuning techniques, and collaborating with team members to ensure the models meet the desired performance standards in various applications. Continuous evaluation and iteration are key aspects of the daily routine to maintain and improve model effectiveness. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate fine-tuned models into production environments. - Document model development processes and maintain clear records of experiments and results. - Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges. - Stay informed about the latest advancements in language model research and apply relevant techniques to ongoing projects. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI. - Strong experience in fine-tuning language models with a focus on instruction tuning and domain adaptation. - Ability to preprocess and curate datasets suitable for training and evaluation of language models. - Familiarity with model evaluation metrics and techniques to assess language model performance. - Experience with programming languages commonly used in AI development such as Python. - Understanding of neural network architectures and transformer-based models.
