This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding the needs of the organization and translating them into functional software solutions. The engineer collaborates with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with operational goals and enhance overall efficiency. Throughout the day, the engineer balances technical development with problem-solving and continuous improvement to deliver reliable and effective software products. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAS Base & Macros. - Strong knowledge of data manipulation and automation using SAS programming. - Experience in developing and maintaining complex macros to streamline workflows. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize SAS code for performance and accuracy. - Familiarity with integrating SAS applications within broader software environments. - Competence in documenting technical specifications and application configurations.
