DevOps Engineer

Project Role : DevOps Engineer Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Must have skills : Microsoft Azure DevOps Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This role requires setting up and maintaining continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines to streamline workflows. The engineer collaborates with various teams to ensure that the systems are robust, secure, and scalable. They also focus on integrating cloud technologies and container orchestration to enhance operational efficiency. Monitoring and improving the infrastructure to prevent security vulnerabilities is a key part of daily activities, ensuring smooth and secure software releases. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the implementation of best practices in continuous integration and deployment to improve development cycles. - Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align infrastructure with organizational goals and security standards. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps. - Experience with cloud infrastructure management and automation tools. - Strong knowledge of container orchestration platforms and their integration within CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with security best practices in software development and deployment environments. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize build and deployment processes for efficiency and reliability.
