Perform placement, routing, and clock tree synthesis, ensuring the design meets timing and manufacturing constraints. Work closely with timing and verification teams to resolve any physical design issues before tape-out. The role requires performing intricate tasks including placement of circuit components, routing interconnections, and synthesizing clock trees to ensure the design adheres to stringent timing and manufacturing requirements. Collaboration with timing analysis and verification teams is essential to identify and resolve any physical design challenges prior to the final tape-out stage, ensuring a seamless transition from design to production. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous coordination across multiple disciplines to achieve high-quality design outcomes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth and skill development. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align physical design strategies with overall project objectives. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Physical Design. - Strong understanding of placement and routing methodologies in integrated circuit design. - Experience with clock tree synthesis and timing closure techniques. - Familiarity with design for manufacturability and design rule checks. - Ability to analyze and optimize power, area, and timing trade-offs in complex designs. - Skilled in collaborating with verification and timing teams to resolve design issues efficiently.
