The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure that data models are accurate, efficient, and support the organization's objectives. The Data Modeler plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business goals and technical implementation by facilitating communication and translating complex data requirements into practical models. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to ensure data models meet both current and future business needs while maintaining data integrity and consistency. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and project success. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align data modeling activities with overall project timelines and deliverables. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts. - Experience with designing and implementing logical and physical data models. - Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective data structures. - Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices in data architecture. - Skilled in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business objectives.
