Project Role : Cloud Platform Engineer Project Role Description : Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure. Can deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security and performance. Must have skills : AWS Architecture Good to have skills : AWS Operations Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with organizational goals is also a key part of daily activities. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities. - Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud architecture and security standards. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Architecture. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with AWS Operations. - Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure design principles and best practices. - Experience in deploying and managing scalable cloud environments. - Familiarity with security frameworks and performance optimization in cloud platforms. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
