This role requires a dynamic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications and supporting the overall business infrastructure. The position demands continuous monitoring, analysis, and collaboration to maintain system stability and performance, contributing to the seamless delivery of services within a complex technical environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to streamline processes and improve system reliability through innovative problem-solving. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and support capabilities. - Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and issue resolution. - Monitor system health and proactively address potential risks to minimize downtime. -Ensure 24x7 operational stability of multi-tenant infrastructure with strict adherence to client SLAs and OLAs. -Govern incident, problem, and change management workflows following ITIL standards chair major incident reviews and drive RCA closure. -Manage cross-functional delivery of infrastructure transformation projects – client onboarding, migrations, and platform upgrades – on time and within scope. -Maintain a real-time view of capacity, utilization, and risk across the managed-services portfolio present executive-level reports monthly. -Partner with network, storage, security, and cloud teams to deliver holistic end-to-end solutions. -Oversee client communication during high-severity events maintain trust through transparent, timely updates. -Act as a senior technical point of contact for strategic clients during service reviews, escalations, and new-scope discussions. -Translate complex technical concepts into clear business impact narratives for executive audience. -Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within the client base collaborate with pre-sales on scoping and solution design. -Drive client satisfaction scores (CSAT / NPS) by championing a proactive, outcome-oriented service culture. -Own the end-to-end technical strategy and roadmap for VMware vSphere 7.x/8.x, Nutanix AHV/AOS, and Dell EMC VxRail across all managed client environments. -Lead architecture reviews, capacity planning, and technology refresh cycles for hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) platforms. -Serve as the ultimate technical escalation point (L4) for critical incidents, complex change implementations, and cross-platform issues. -Hands-on design and implementation of vSAN, NSX, vRealize Suite, Prism Central, and VxRail LCM solutions. -Drive automation initiatives using PowerCLI, Ansible, Python, and Terraform to eliminate toil and increase delivery velocity. -Define and enforce infrastructure standards, configuration baselines, security hardening guidelines, and SOP documentation. -Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies (VMware Cloud Foundation, Nutanix Cloud Clusters, Azure -VMware Solution) to inform the service roadmap. -Oversee disaster recovery design, BCP testing, and SRM / Zerto runbook maintenance across client environments. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Vmware Virtualization Administration. - Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and infrastructure management. -15+ years of IT infrastructure experience minimum 7 years in a technical lead or management role overseeing teams of 10+. -Expert-level hands-on proficiency with VMware vSphere 7.x/8.x, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, NSX, vRealize Suite. -Deep knowledge of Nutanix platform: AOS, Prism Central, AHV, replication, and security compliance features. -Extensive experience with Dell EMC VxRail: architecture, LCM, firmware management, and integration with vSAN. -Strong understanding of HCI principles, SAN/NAS storage, and virtual networking (VDS/NSX). -Hands-on scripting and automation experience with PowerCLI, PowerShell, Python, and/or Ansible. -Proven experience with DR/BCP tools: VMware SRM, Zerto, or equivalent. -Solid grasp of monitoring and ITSM tooling: OME, vROps, ServiceNow, or similar platforms. -Demonstrated ability to lead 24x7 managed-services operations across multi-tenant client environments.
