Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. Must have skills : ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating cross-functional planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring key performance indicators related to testing activities, managing test execution, and ensuring timely resolution of defects to support continuous improvement and successful project outcomes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and team efficiency. - Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development. - Coordinate with stakeholders to align quality objectives with overall project goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM). - Strong expertise in quality engineering principles and testing methodologies. - Experience in developing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies. - Ability to define and track key quality metrics to evaluate testing effectiveness. - Skilled in defect management and resolution processes. - Familiarity with ecosystem integration and multi-disciplinary team collaboration.
