Quality Engineer

Project Role : Quality Engineer Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. The role focuses on accelerating delivery timelines while maintaining high standards of quality. Daily activities include continuous testing efforts covering security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. The position also involves developing and implementing automation strategies, creating automated test scripts, and managing data and environment configurations. Regular participation in code reviews and defect monitoring supports ongoing improvements in the testing process, contributing to the overall success of the project and product quality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to optimize testing processes and enhance team productivity. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth. - Coordinate cross-functional communication to align testing objectives with project goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Functional Test Planning. - Strong expertise in designing and executing comprehensive test plans that cover functional requirements. - Experience in developing automation strategies and creating automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency. - Ability to manage data and environment configurations to support various testing scenarios. - Familiarity with continuous testing practices, including security testing, API testing, and regression testing. - Skilled in participating in code reviews and defect tracking to facilitate continuous improvement.
