Mandatory certification in the primary skill is required. Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of custom applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the defined requirements. The position demands proactive communication and collaboration across teams to drive the project forward while managing priorities and addressing challenges that arise during the development process. The engineer acts as the central point of contact, guiding the technical direction and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to quality standards within the team. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring to support the growth and development of junior team members. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and deliverables. - Monitor project progress and proactively address any risks or issues to maintain timelines. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Studio, Workday Core Integrations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Workday Core Integrations. - Strong expertise in designing and developing integrations within the Workday ecosystem. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application configuration and deployment. - Experience in managing end-to-end application lifecycle including design, testing, and deployment. - Familiarity with integration patterns, data transformation, and error handling within Workday Studio.
