Project Role : Scrum Master Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics. The role includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are addressed promptly, and maintaining a steady focus on project goals. The Scrum Master actively facilitates communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders, monitors progress through relevant metrics, and supports continuous improvement within the team to enhance productivity and delivery outcomes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and adapting processes accordingly. - Support the professional growth of team members by fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. - Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives and timely delivery. - Facilitate conflict resolution within the team to maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow, ServiceNow Scrum Master, ServiceNow project implementation experiences, Project Management, Team Management, ServiceNow Functional Knowledge. - Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies including Scrum and Kanban. - Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Ability to use Agile project management tools and track progress through metrics and reporting. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Capability to identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress.
