Must have skills : Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform Good to have skills : NA Minimum 15 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and develops proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with organizational goals is a key aspect of daily activities, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience. - Should have Influencing and Advisory skills. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities. - Mentor and guide junior team members to foster professional growth and knowledge sharing. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management. - Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. - Ability to design and validate architecture proofs focusing on performance and security. - Skilled in integrating cloud and non-cloud systems to create cohesive solutions.
