The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, applying modern frameworks and agile methodologies to meet evolving business requirements. Collaboration and continuous improvement are key aspects, as the engineer refines code and integrates new features to support organizational goals and user needs. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development. - Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Teradata Administration. - Strong knowledge of database management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within Teradata environments. - Experience with backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. - Ability to monitor and optimize system resources to maintain high availability and performance. - Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements related to database administration. - Skilled in scripting and automation to streamline routine administrative tasks.
