Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution. The role includes installing database management systems and developing efficient procedures to ensure smooth daily operations. The professional actively monitors database performance, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates with various teams to maintain data integrity and availability. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement of database environments to meet evolving business requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability. - Maintain database security by managing user access and permissions in accordance with organizational policies. - Document database configurations, procedures, and changes to support knowledge sharing and compliance. - Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Experience in database backup and recovery techniques to safeguard data integrity. - Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization strategies. - Familiarity with database security best practices and user management. - Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. - Experience with database monitoring tools and automation of routine tasks.
