Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. The role requires working closely with team members to apply modern development frameworks and agile methodologies, ensuring that the solutions delivered are scalable, efficient, and aligned with the unique requirements of the business. This position demands continuous collaboration and innovation to meet evolving project goals and enhance overall system performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development. - Assist in documenting technical specifications and maintaining code quality standards. - Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices. - Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apigee. - Experience in designing and implementing API management solutions using Apigee. - Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and security protocols. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and integration of APIs within distributed systems. - Ability to troubleshoot and optimize API performance for high availability and scalability. - Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
