Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. Must have skills : Generative AI Good to have skills : NA Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes defining and monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate testing effectiveness, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain product excellence. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the development and continuous improvement of testing frameworks and methodologies to support evolving project needs. - Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team. - Ensure alignment of quality objectives with overall project goals and organizational standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Generative AI. - Strong understanding of quality engineering principles and testing methodologies. - Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies across complex application lifecycles. - Ability to define and track key quality metrics to assess testing processes and outcomes. - Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams to integrate quality processes effectively. - Competence in managing defect lifecycle and ensuring timely resolution to maintain product quality.
