The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure data models are accurate, efficient, and support organizational goals. The Data Modeler plays a vital role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation by facilitating clear communication and thorough analysis of data requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to ensure data models meet both current and future business needs. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align data modeling activities with overall project goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts. - Experience in designing logical and physical data models to support business processes. - Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective data structures. - Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices in data management. - Skilled in using data modeling tools and software to create and maintain data models.
