Must have skills : Site Reliability Engineering Good to have skills : NA Minimum 12 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business system components. This role requires dynamic problem-solving to identify root causes and implement effective solutions, ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of essential applications. The position demands continuous engagement with complex systems to maintain optimal performance and minimize disruptions, contributing significantly to business continuity and user satisfaction. Roles & Responsibilities: -Expected to collaborate and manage the team to perform. -Responsible for team decisions. -Oversee entire project & the technical requirements -Provide hands-on coverage for development -Expertise in Ansible & CI/CD for Infra-as-code projects -Should have experience in handling and leading complex Infra-as-code projects -Hands-on expert in DevOps and related technologies -Act as a technical SPOC for juniors and oversee technical troubleshooting of issues -Interface with delivery, operations, and client teams to gather requirements -Ensure coding standards & hygiene is maintained -Review code, PRs, code merge & provide feedback -Bug fix & tracking -Independently able to setup & configure automation and pre-requisite environments -Own and maintain technical documentation -Ability to navigate existing code and re-use parts of the same Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering. - Need to have skills in OS admin such as RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS/Windows Server/VMWare vSphere - Strong knowledge in Git, Github, Bitbucket, branching strategies - Strong knowledge in Shell scripting, PowerShell, Python -Strong knowledge in DevOps skill like Ansible, Jenkins, Resolve.io, Jenkins, AWX, Gitlab CI/CD etc. - need to know Volume/Disk management, Package management, CPU/Memory management, Text manipulation, AD, Networking & Security - Strong knowledge in API Interface and invoke RestAPI methods with Ansible playbooks, python/groovy script & pipelines -Optional Skills: in MyWizard ATR workflows, RunDeck, or Power Automate, CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, SolarWinds etc. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required. 15 years full time education Important Notice We have been alerted to the existence of fraudulent messages asking job seekers to set up payment to cover various costs associated with establishing employment at Accenture.
