Quality Engineer

Project Role : Quality Engineer Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Must have skills : Playwright Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with diverse teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in planning activities that span multiple disciplines, ensuring seamless integration within the development ecosystem. Your role includes executing continuous testing practices focused on various aspects such as security, application programming interfaces, and regression. You develop and maintain automation strategies and scripts, while also managing data and environment configurations. Additionally, you actively participate in code reviews, track and report issues, and contribute to ongoing improvements in the testing lifecycle to uphold high-quality standards throughout the application development process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing strategies with project goals. - Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks to improve efficiency. - Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices. - Monitor testing progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright. - Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts to validate application functionality. - Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues within automated test suites and testing environments. - Familiarity with API testing and security testing methodologies. - Knowledge of environment configuration and data management to support testing activities.
